That day was quiet, until something
happened that broke the chain. That was death. A whirling whirlpool of turmoil
of pain swept across her. She loved her husband beyond bounds. A man she loved
the most in the world. The mountain of hope and happiness that was her life
suddenly was eroded by the volcano of destruction. She felt she was nothing in
the world without him. She felt she was all alone. She felt God had robbed all
that she had in the world.
Tears pained her, because no more
tears were left to weep.
Then a ray of hope skimmed as a
thought came to her. She transferred herself to love the world. She felt she
was selfish to love only her loved one. She felt it had to be shared to be
happy. She wanted to displace herself to love Children. Then it happened…
She got an opportunity to
volunteer in an orphanage called, “Love of Living”. She committed whole
heartedly to love the little children like her own. She was 35 at that time.
She lived years of compassion to serve and it continued in her life.
The children grew up. They learnt
to stand on their own foot, and then came the time to depart.
There were 10 children who grew
up under her umbrage. She loved them colossal like her own.
Now, she was overwhelmed with
pain. Her owns were to go far and she could not be with them at all times.
Again, the pain of separation
mounted on her. She was now a 60 year old woman. The Children bid her with love
and promised to keep in touch.
Now she had other children to
grow under her umbrage.
She realized that ultimately,
that people she loved could not be with her always. Yet, she would live in
their hearts. She had another obligation to shower the same love on her other
children. She realized that change is constant in any life.
“Love the loved, share the love
and grow the love”, was her wise realization.
